Dance Workshops for Primary Schools

Explore storytelling through movement with cross-curricular dance workshops

Topic-based dance workshops led by professional dancers

Popular dance workshops | Dance workshops by theme

From popular children’s books and poetry to cultural celebrations and national events, our dance workshops encourage children to use their imaginations. By combining storytelling, movement and music, children can engage with a topic from a new, creative, and active perspective.

Each of our dance workshops is led by a professional dancer who will guide the class through a choreographed movement sequence which explores your chosen topic. This helps children to develop their confidence and presentation skills alongside an understanding of narrative.

Sessions typically run between 35 - 40 minutes per class and are delivered class-by-class in your school hall.

You can learn more about the different workshop options below and make an enquiry on their respective pages. For the most accurate information we recommend getting in touch through our enquiry forms, or for general information visit our FAQs page.
