Expand your co-curricular offer with a weekly drama club led by experts
Created by West End theatre professionals, our new after school drama club both enhances your arts education offer to children and is an attractive addition to parents.
Led by two professional actors, each weekly session will focus on using drama to build the confidence, communication skills and creativity of each child in a supportive environment where they will flourish.
Alongside the weekly sessions schools select - for free, every term - a drama or dance workshop of their choice from the West End in Schools range to be delivered to all eligible classes. This is worth over £500 per day, and enriches your curriculum in the way that suits you best.
We’ll start each term by exploring an exciting play, theme or story before children work together to create their own short performance piece that can be informally shared with parents and teachers as appropriate.
Many schools are rightly proud of their strong drama offering which we can complement without adding to the demands on your drama staff or budget. And if this is an area where your school currently doesn’t have the provision you would like then we can make a difference quickly - with availability from the start of next term.

- The club runs for one hour per week in a hall, drama or dance studio within the school.
- We will agree a regular time that works with the rhythm of your school week - after school or in a lunchtime.
- Sessions will consist of between 12 and 24 children led by two teaching artists.
- Children can be aged from Year 1 to Year 8, typically grouped by key stage.
- If we need multiple groups due to numbers or age differences then we will find multiple time slots, ideally back to back.
- Most schools offer the Drama Club at additional cost to parents. We can either charge parents directly through our webpage, or invoice the school.
- We can also accommodate schools preferring to offer Co-Curricular Drama at no additional cost to parents, where the school pays in full.
- Parents and children will commit a term at a time. The cost will be similar to the popular external drama clubs.
- Additional drama sessions on school open days can be arranged.
The content supports the curriculum and the personal growth of each child by:
- Developing their communication, teamwork and listening skills.
- Building self confidence as they create and present work.
- Enhancing their confidence in literacy as they explore big stories through drama.
- Expanding their cultural capital and appreciation of the arts.
- Sharing their emotions and opinions in a positive and respectful way.
- Developing a new interest and hobby that can enrich their lives.
In addition to the benefits to the children:
- A drama club at no cost to the school.
- One free day of whole school West End in Schools workshops for each drama club per term.
- End of term performance is another opportunity for parents to see their children shine within the school.
- Looks great to prospective parents.
- Up to one bursary place per class.
