Celebrate the Paris Olympic Games in your primary school
Workshops available for throughout the UK from May half term 2024.
Originally created for the Paris Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, every class from Reception to Year 6 can participate in this iconic celebration of sports and unity.
During the workshop your children will work alongside a professional dancer to reimagine their own version of the Olympic Games. Working together as a class, they will celebrate the spirit of the games by creating their own version of the opening ceremony, explore the different types of sports, and embrace the official Olympic values of excellence, respect and friendship.
In the words of the Olympic Charter: “The goal of the Olympic Movement is to contribute to building a peaceful and better world by educating youth through sport.”

- We work with individual classes for sessions of between 35 and 50 minutes.
- We can run up to seven 35 minute sessions per day.
- Online sessions are up to 50 minutes each.
- To work with fewer classes we can visit for just an afternoon or morning session.
- To work with more than seven classes we can visit across multiple days.
- We will send you a suggested timetable when you enquire and will work with you to create a timetable that works for your school day.
- Celebrate the Paris Olympics through a fun, active and collaborative dance workshop.
- Learn about the values of the Olympic movement as well as the culture of the host country.
- To develop creative ownership and the imagination by working alongside a professional dancer-choreographer.
- Gain confidence in physical literacy as an expression of meaning and emotion.
