Get into the spirit of Christmas with a Festive Workshop

This Christmas, bring the magic of professional theatre to your school with a West End in Schools creative workshop! Embrace the panto spirit with dance workshops based on Aladdin or Cinderella, or join your favourite festive characters in a drama workshop based on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol or The Night Before Christmas.

  • Drama workshops exploring either A Christmas Carol or The Night Before Christmas.

  • Using drama techniques, children become immersed in the story’s world as they inhabit the characters, recreate the setting, and explore the themes of the tale.

  • Suitable for Reception to Y6.

  • Embrace the panto spirit with dance workshops based on Aladdin or Cinderella.

  • A perfect festive celebration of movement and storytelling.

  • Children create the magic of panto and explore a traditional panto tale through dance.

  • Suitable for EYFS to Y6.

About our visit

  • Workshops are led by a professional dancer or drama-facilitator with full DBS.

  • We work with children in their usual classes in you school hall.

  • Drama sessions are 35 - 45 minutes for Reception, 35 - 60 minutes for KS1 or 40 - 90 minutes for KS2. We can work with up to 6 classes per day.

  • Dance sessions are between 35 and 50 minutes for all classes. We can work with up to 7 classes per day.

  • To work with fewer classes we can visit for just an afternoon or morning session.

  • To work with more classes we can visit across multiple days.

  • We will send you a suggested timetable when you enquire and we can work with you to create a timetable that works for your school day.
