Celebrate teamwork using dance and movement

Dance is a highly collaborative activity - perfect for exploring the themes of friendship and teamwork.

In our Friendship and Teamwork school dance workshop our choreographer works with each class to develop responses to the PSHCE themes of friendship, teamwork and co-operation.

We use a range of exercises that are tailored for the age group, and build up to a performance moment at the end of each session using Toy Story's famous 'You've Got a Friend in Me' for younger children, and 'I'm a Believer' for older children which many know from Shrek.

At the end of the workshop children will have enhanced their experience and understanding of dance as an activity and as a creative process, and developed their understanding of friendship.
