Celebrate the coronation of King Charles lll through dance

On 6 May 2023, the world will witness something that many of us have never seen before - the crowning of a new British monarch! Explore the excitement, pomp and ceremony of the coronation in this vibrant new workshop, that uses dance and drama to enhance children’s understanding of this historic event.

During the sessions, each class will be led by a professional performer as they work together to create a dance piece inspired by the coronation ceremony and its surrounding celebrations.

Concluding with a performance moment, the sessions combine fun historical facts, creative movement and majestic music to create a truly memorable experience that marks this special occasion with style.
