Anti-Bullying Workshops

With Anti-bullying Week coming up in w/c 12th November we have designed a selection of drama and dance-based anti-bullying workshops - each one created to unify everyone taking part. Whilst particularly popular during Anti-bullying Week, these workshops are available all year round to explore PSHCE themes of friendship, teamwork and co-operation

Friendship and Teamwork Dance Workshop | Anti-bullying Drama Workshop

Dance workshop: Friendship and Teamwork

Dance is a highly collaborative activity - perfect for exploring the themes of friendship and teamwork.

Friendship and Teamwork dance workshops give children the opportunity to respond to the topic through a new medium, allowing for different perspectives, skills and friendships to develop!

We use a range of exercises that are tailored for the age group, and build up to a performance moment at the end of each session using Toy Story's famous 'You've Got a Friend in Me' for younger children, and 'I'm a Believer' for older children which many know from Shrek.

Drama workshop: Anti-bullying

In one day we spread a positive and inclusive anti-bullying message, while unifying the children through the activity itself. During the sessions children will:

  • Explore and celebrate what makes them, and others, unique.

  • Identify different types of bullying.

  • Imagine how bullying makes other people feel.

  • Learn to see themselves, others and their relationships from different perspectives.

  • Discover that they can identify problems and take individual and/or collective action to prevent bullying.

  • Create a 'Creative Conclusion' by working as a team.
